The Raising of Educationalqualitity of Secondary VocationalSchool ConcerningLabour Market Access

Abstrak

Central Java Research and Development Organization in 2003 ,on a self management scale, held  research on the Raising of Educational Quality of Secondary Vocational School Concerning Labour Markets Access. This Research was carried out in 6 samples District/ City in Central Java, including 18  Public and Private Secondary Vocational School. The results that were gained from this activity were information on :   I)  The Characteristics of Secondary Vocational Schools 2) Availability of teachers and the proponent 3) Education Facilities  in Secondary Vocational Schools 4) Education Financing of Secondary Vocational Schools S) Leaming process in the schools researched 6) Management process in Secondary Vocational Schools Researched 7) Labour Market Access from 18 Secondary Vocational Schools from 2000 to 2002 after selecting who work as employees in private local enterprise,  domestic.and abroad (  1132 people ) self.  The result was entrepreneur :   472 people,  Civil  Servant :    6 people.and 44 people continue their higher education in Private/Government Institutes. Because of the investigatition  difficulty to trace the skill advantages in field, for graduates (by own address or each parent),it is Suggested to build means of communication between school  and the graduate and schools, interrelated with departement I institution  which were responsible and interested in information/dataof the graduates in the field (Education Ser• vice, Labour  Service,  etc).  Communication  means can be by letter I questionnire,  or  via computer I internet.
